One Day Format
Last year's comp happened over one day at Jackson’s on George in Sydney on Monday, 9th September 2024. Three rounds kicked off with a written test, followed by a blind tasting, speed round & mystery box challenge. The final three then competed that evening.

The prize
The 2024 winner was crowned Australian Bartender Magazine Bartender of the Year, and received an overseas trip, hosted by one of the William Grant & Sons BAs.
